After the relaxing Garden of Wonders and photo shoots with Mickey & Minnie, we stood in line at the old town of Grizzly Gulch - dubbed Geyser Gulch. We stood in line for excursion inside the mountain of Big Grizzly Mountain Mining Company Building" It is said to be erected in the early days of California’s Gold Rush.
The line was moving fast. As we got nearer to the ride, I thought, maybe it's like an old mining cart-type ride (won't be that scary). We saw some old cluttered rooms, with kerosene lanterns, rusty prospectors, wander past, dusty sawmill, like a workshop with old mining stuffs of a chief geologist. The architecture was great.
Finally, we got our turns. Since we stood one after the other, all of us had our seats in a cart-train box. It was a two-some seat.

How the ride was:
1. The tunnel was dark. It was dimly lit. But nothing to be scared for. At first the ride was just easy. The train wheels were just chugging back and forth across the track.
2. Then it became faster, more zigzag and winding up and plummet down.
3. The family of friendly bears were rumored to have led the discovery of gold in the mountain.
4. Veered off-course and darted-down into a perilous mine shaft.
5. But what made it scarier was when we stopped almost reaching the top, where I thought we'd move forward, but then it quickly pulled back.
At the nearby end of the ride, we tumbled a bit in the jagged cavern where a mama white bear and cub stood close tot he pile of explosives.
Will the dynamite explode and blast you out of the mountain? They don't call it "run-away mine cars" for nothing!
During the ride:
Such an adrenalin ride! My goodness! I was screaming to the top of my lungs because it’s like a ride inside the mine. Chesca was screaming “Mommmmm” All I did was tell her to scream and seat back with her head high. When we went out we all exclaimed with shock. Hahaha. We were ALL screaming!
Have you seen the movie "Journey to the center of the Earth"? Similar to that ride they did in the mine.
After the ride:
My headache was gone temporarily but came back with upper back pains. Suck a killer.
I accompanied mom at the First Aid Office.
Comment After:
I don’t wanna ride that again…ever (period).
