We've been hearing a lot of the floating resto. It was time to experience it ourselves. I wanna found out for myself why is it famous?
For a real lunch, we went there - SUNGAYAN GRILL. It is located at Balingasay River. It is considered as the one of the cleanest river in the country. It is ranked at the #1 among 8 restaurants in Bolinao. Yeah it is floating but it can accommodate over a thousand guests.

Upon arriving, we already saw some foreigner guests seated. I said to myself "it's my cheat day". Andrei and Vanessa ordered for our group. We were served with the seafood boodle fight menu. It was looking so delicious. Tito Rene led the blessing of the food.
Here's what I can say about our seafood boodle fight menu:
1. Boodle fight type presentation was "IT". Banana leaf smelled fresh and clean. We all liked it. Thumbs-up to that!
2. Quantity or amount of serving was great. It was just right for famished individuals like us.
3. Design or preparation of the menu was well-done. You would know it was prepared with time.
4. The rice was soft which we all liked. Each grain is full.
The sinigang soup was neither salty nor sour.
The eggplant and ensalada was plain but sauce by the
side was ready to suit your own blend of taste.
The grilled fish was tender and fresh.
The famous black "guinamos" with calamansi was
perfect.
5. Iced-tea was well-mixed and tasty. Such a thirst-quencher!
Although during that time, some shrimps and crabs tasted a bit old. You know how a fresh seafood tastes like.
Over-all rate from me: Close to Perfect! Four Stars! for P2,500 - It was worth it!

The kids and adults were all happy. I finished last. hahaha. That's me when I ate with my bare hands. Time didn't matter.
After the kids ate, they enjoyed watching at the fishes down the floating resto.
Before leaving, mom bought a pili nut for me. We thanked the courtesy of the staffs. As you know mom is a real trouper.
Andrei taught the kids how to make necklaces out of the Santana flower - something we did when we were kids while waiting for everyone to leave.
It was already hot yet the happy heart and tummy made the weather cool. hehehe.
So next time you head to Pangasinan, at Bolinao, make time to satisfy those tummies with good food at good pay - Choose Sungayan Grill!
