"Iloa ja seikkailuja Filippiineillä"
How far have you seen the Philippines beauty?  How willing are you to invest in travel diaries and experiences?  Some does within their scope and some go far beyond…it’s all a matter of perspective.

Enjoying travel across the world destinations is natural for Henri, a 29 year old, Finn who’s an avid traveler, a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu enthusiast-medalist, and a massage therapist.

Last January 6th, Henri boarded the plane of Finnair Hel Dusseldorf then to Cathay P. Dusseldorf - Hongkong and Cathay Pacific/ Dragon Air Hongkong – Manila.  From International NAIA airport, he took the 6 hours bus going to Alaminos, Pangasinan for HUNDRED ISLANDS as the first travel destination.  The friendly and 5 star service of Treasure Isle Guesthouse made his arrival even better.  He was thrilled at the Filipino kind of hostel he chose.  It was a nipa hut kind of shelter but with a double sized bed and a mosquito net. How simple yet cool is that?!

The food was a 5 star and the professionalism of Nick, an Italian guy married to a Filipina, was superb.  The 3 days 2 nights spent in Treasure Isle was indeed a treasure.  Henri enjoyed the boat tour around hundred islands and other water activities.

“Why chose the Philippines?”  “Because it is cheap, the weather is sunny, the beaches are great, there’s so many things to see…”

The HUNDRED ISLANDS NATIONAL PARK (Pangasinan: Kapulo-puloan or Taytay Bakes) is a national park in the Philippines. The protected area is located in the city of Alaminos, in the province of Pangasinan in northern Philippines. The islands, totaling to 124 at low tide and 123 at high tide, are scattered in Lingayen Gulf covering an area 0f 16.76 square kilometers (6.47 sq. mi.)  Only three of them have been developed for tourism : Governor Islands, Quezon Island and Children's Island. The Lucap wharf in Alaminos, the entrance to the national park, is about 240 kilometers (150 mi) north of Manila, the capital of the Philippines.(wikipedia)
