Kanto Freestyle is a 24 -hours open, famous place to eat-out in Mandaluyong City. I've been hearing good feedback about the resto and so going there was exciting. The high-class carinderia "food stall" offers tables and chairs open to dine by the side of the road. Thus it is called "kanto" meaning side of the road.
It is known for its huge and clean and yummy serving. Price is a little above affordable but it's worth it.
BUDGET
Pork Liempo + bacon = 90 + 25 = 115 php
Fare to Kanto Sytle (chip in cab+jeep) = 38.50 php
Fare going home = 63 php
TOTAL = 216.50 php
HOW TO GET THERE
From Net Plaza, BGC:
We took a cab from BGC to Mandaluyong.
We dropped off the main road of San Joaquin, Mandaluyong.
Walked through because the road that time was under renovation.
Such a discovery! Feds remembered the route well. Nice! "

10:00 PM - 10:45 PM : ETD Net Plaza/Travel to San Joaquin
"After our 10 pm shift last October 5, 2013 our group(TL Tin, Reizel, Amy, Feds, Alvin, Nhess and I)decided to eat at Kanto Freestyle Breakfast which name has been smoking in the office. I was so excited...hahaha. It's open 24 hours we could make it." 10:45 PM - 11:15 PM : Ordered/Waited/Late Dinner Served

The waiting time was just alright ~ not to long nor short. We were just chatting while waiting.A lot of customers were arriving. Wow!I guess word of mouth ads really works.
The location of that canteen isn't really easy to find.But customers take time which means the food must be really good. Time to find out for myself.
So finally when our orders came, we were eating with excitement. Feds and I loved our orders. hahaha. Yeah, what we've been hearing was TRUE. The pork liempo was crunchy and not too salty. The fresh tomatoe slices with mayo on top blended well. The sauce was also yummy.I rated it 5 stars.The serving was also big ~ just right for the P90.00. What I love the most was the bacon strips I ordered.

"While eating, the never-ending story. As you know, conversation while eating makes the food tastes better.Although, our usual comment is ~ galit galit muna which means 'focus on eating like you don't care because you're mad).
UM Reiman finally showed up while we were eating. He drove his yellow car; parked a bit and said hello to us. He had to scoop a little but also left ahead of us. Thanks for the drop-by UM. He is nicknamed Sir Chief in the office because he resembles Richard as Sir Chief, the main character of the tv series."
