SM Megall, Ortigas: Funfilled BOWLING Tournament

When you put your hands on a round ball and feel the energy of the game as it dribbles, rolls or bounces, a sense of rush happens within you that brings a sense of happiness...a sense of relaxation and a sense of completeness. It can be addictive and oftentimes, enslaving someone if priority is not set right.

Well, our team isn't a group of player-type of people but we DO love games.  A little bit of that is always a great way to boost job performance. Last August 31, 2014 our team put our hands together for a BOWLING fever at Mega Mall.

BUDGET
P165 per game per person.
P50 for bowling shoe rental.
FYI:  Wear socks in advance. It's a MUST.

ITINERARY

02:00 PM - 03:00 PM   :  ETD Net Plaza/ Travel to Mega Mall
"After shift, we gathered together at the lobby and took a van by Kalayaan Avenue. When the barker saw our group, he talked to the driver of the van who instantly agreed to drive us to Mega Mall. We were having a good time chatting and teasing inside. hahaha. Imagine that as an ice breaker. Our road trip took us about an hour from BGC to Mega Mall."

03:00 PM - 04:00 PM   :  Quick Dinner/Meet-up Team
"So, as soon as we arrived, most of us were already starving.  Rei, Kathy, Cha, Joy and I decided to grab a quickie meal. Kathy and I bought the KFC meal while Rei, Cha and Joy had Brothers Burger. We ate as fast as we could. Kathy was fast!!!!hahaha. When we got back at the bowling area, the team was singing inside a small room. Yannie was the lead singer. We joined them and there found that Luisito can really sing well. Shane and Chona also bought their food and Shane was offering her food as usual. So sweet! Wow! We were waiting for a vacant bowling slot and finally after we paid got our turn."

Rei and I enjoyed chose to play with her lipstick on our lips. hahaha.  I loved that color.  Here we were...

04:00 PM - 06:00 PM   :   Mini Bowling Tournament
"The team was grouped into two by UM Dong. My teammates were Rico, Shane, Joy, Chona and UM Dong. Rico was our power source and that is because he is one of the company's bowling players. He plays with Eyna, my friend.

The other group was Vircel, Yannie, Cha, Kathy, Luis, Reizel. Vircel was the other team's captain.
TL Anne couldn't play with us because she just had her tooth extraction."

We were all excited to start...It's been ages since I played bowling. I used to play this with my fave aunt Naids in Cotabato City. That was when I was around 18. How I missed this game and my aunt.

While UM Dong was distributing our team, we were busy trying out lifting the bowling pins to make sure the weight was just ok. Some of the girls have not played bowling yet...hehehe. Rico shared his bowling prowess techniques. Way to go coach!

So here are photos of our solo shots taken by TL Anne Bacani. Guess whose stance looks like a pro ~ Team Vircel are Vircel, Yannie, Cha, Kathy, Reizel and Luisito.

Team Rico are Rico, Carol, Shane, Chona, Joy and UM Dong.  We missed Ivy and Kristel (who's at Palawan that time).

Everytime we get to wait for our turn, we'd take photos.  Yesss!!! the ever photo overload.  No one was a bomber!  We all enjoyed and truly had FUN!!!! I think I kept cheering that I almost lost my voice...yeah ~ cheering out loud!! hahaha. Some photos courtesy of Shane's Iphone.

I used the number 7 pin because the weight just felt right for my arm.  Most of us girls chose it.  These pins looked so yummy in their colors.  I noticed other players by the next lane, would still dash their hands with powder before rolling it on the lane.  Such a pro move!  Haven't tried it..

What made our game so hilariously active was because of Lui ~ He's a vibrant, full of life and funny player. Whenever he got a strike score, he would raise both of his arms sideways in the air and clap.  Such powerful pose!!!  Imagine that!

The machine sometimes had a break down which slowed-down the game but hey we ain't pro - so resting was great.  hehehe.

06:00 PM   :   End of Tournament/ETD Mega Mall
We finished the entire sheet and here's the score after the game.
