What a SURPRISE!!! I got this email from Google. Something that made me smile ears-to-ears and gave a sense of accomplishment. I'm loving this lifestyle! Ask me HOW I do it.
I love photography. Most people who know me tell me I have the skill - something I got from my mom. I guess it's inborn. I don't have a good camera except a Samsung J7 cellphone. So mine is Photography. A cheap way of doing what I love. Maybe soon, I will have a means to buy a DSLR camera. My long time wish list.
At work I tried joining photography contests. I keep an Instagram account - something I believe best way to showcase good photos. Above all, I post my photos in Google Map. Ever since I used gmail, my android phone has been synched to Google for added storage - Drive. Plus even if I delete my photos on my phone, it's saved in Google Drive.
My fascination of posting in Google Map started from a simple curiosity three years ago because I keep receiving pop-ups about "Reviews". I tried doing it and became a lifestyle. Every where I go, Google will notify me if I have already sent in my review. Being heard or read this way must be exciting. On the other hand, as a travel/mommy lifestyle blogger, I believe this way I can help people. It's giving me a sense of 'bayanihan' or charity. I love helping-out.
After years passed by, this good news came - I'm a TOP Google Photographer. That means I got 1M Views of my photos. Wow!! Truly amazed. This is my first photography acknowledgement and it came from one of the most prestigious online browser. I'm truly honored.
