Disney Paint the Night Parade: Majestic, Disneyland, Hongkong

Happy 10th Year Annivesary HK Disneyland!

DISNEY PAINT THE NIGHT PARADE

We rested by the central park and waited for the Disney Parade.  The sun was setting and the castle was beginning to show more splendor.  People were tired and just seated everywhere.  I was tired too.  I felt so sleepy.  I just remembered my dad.  I whispered in my heart - I know you see us from above dad.  Wish you were here!  As the day approached the evening, everyone was getting excited every minute.

Finally, the Disney parade began around 7 pm.

What you see in the 40 minutes parade:

* The various lights attached around the decorated carts was truly amazing at night.
* The first in the parade was a group of girls dressed as fairies with their changing lighted Wings and rope. They danced gracefully to the music.
* Next was Tinkerbell. Oh she was so cute! It's a live human being dressed as Tinkerbell and she was going up and down with her magical wand as the truck harness moved her.
* Then the many doors of Monsters with the huge and fury Sullivan dancing.
* Following him was a group of dancers dressed as robots introducing Lightning Mcqueen with Mack and Doc.
* Then a group of dancers dressed like sea corals and crabs introduced Poseidon and Ariel.
* Next was a group of dancers dressed like in English gowns introduced Princess Belle.
* Next was Woody and Buss Light Year with Slinky Dog.
* Then Goofy, Donald Duck, Minnie were seated on top a ball introduced Mickey Mouse dancing and waving his magical wand for everyone!

Such a magical parade.  The dancers and carts were carefully prepared and designed plus the light effect was awesome! Here's a video from Andy Chung in youtube.  Enjoy guys!

Thank you Andy Chung for this video (Mine was corrupted)

Can you imagine how we all felt after seeing the magnificent parade?  BLISS. Yes, nothing else but that. Spending money was worth it!

We marched with the group of people. Whoa!  it was so crowded. We reached the train area and then took our ride back to the hotel. We were so exhausted but the memories kept us alive. We exchanged how we appreciated everything.  Kids were happy.

We decided to eat dinner at KFC. Finding the location was easy. Hongkong city at night was full of lights. The posts have light and everything was visible. The KFC crew was a chubby Chinese lady who was able to speak English but the problem was she pronounced so differently. It's like a lot of schwa sound. That was why Andrei and I didn't understand that well.  Anyway, she was fast and we got our orders. We were all excited to dig in unfortunately, the chicken was a disappointment. Neither the kids nor us liked it. hahaha. We just ate the salad, fries and tart, which by far was good.

My feet were hurting.  I was so excited to go back to the hotel and rest.  We took the tram with Kennedy sign. It took us quite late. We noticed a lot of working people also hurrying.  In the tram, I noticed a group of yuppies (young professionals). One of them looked like a model and they were busy playing Pokemon. hahaha. You see in HK, wi fi is great. Thus, playing Pokemon was fun.

We arrived back in the hotel safe and sound and of course before we went to bed, I made sure things were ready for tomorrow.  My heart was full.  Such a magical day indeed!
