Seven Commando Beach, El Nido: Travel Guide + Budget

Hi mommies & bff's! This freedom is becoming a lifestyle.  How much do you want to spend time with loved-ones without worrying the time, commute and cubicle.

It's almost summer time again. I know most of you have swimming plans. Who wouldn't want to cool-down the heat with beach and pools, right?! As you plan along, here's my first-hand Seven Commandos, El Nido adventure tips.  Moreover this lifestyle could be yours too.

As a way to commemorate the lost seven soldiers who lived in the island, whose named where printed on the rocks, this awesome, calm, and powdery white sand beach was named "Seven Commandos"  Though some locals disagreed.  Whether the story is real or not, it is now named so.

Located in the west coast of the world renowned Palawan, El Nido, this beach acclaims the super fine, powdery and soft white sand beautified with the abundant lush of coconut trees.  The sea current is calm making it so enticing for a dip and swim.

But what others just loves to do is bask under the heat of the sun by the shore, waiting for the splashing of the waves back and forth.  Oh yeah! Such a beach life.

The island also has comfort rooms, some local stores for quick bite and slight snacks and drinks, a small souvenir shop and the cool posts of the faceless wooden standee of soldiers.

Your soul will be filled with immense peace when you gaze from east to west of this shoreline especially during sunset.

04:00 PM - 4:45 PM   :   Relaxing @ Seven Commandos
"It's been a great island hopping tour A & C.  We've literally enjoyed visiting Matinloc Shrine, Tapiutan Island, Hidden Beach, Secret Lagoon, Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon and then Seven Commandos.  During the final sail towards Seven Commandos, a promising rainbow appeared on the sky.  It really looked anchored to the island.  We were all amazed.  I felt that the heavens blessed our trip, a way of saying...go for your dreams, Carole!

We sat on  a white plastic bench while enjoying the cold sip of royal soda and chips.  Ced had a cold beer, while Matt & Thorin had cold shakes.  After sometime, mom and chesca with Thorin had a quick dip.  Such a great way to end the afternoon tour.

From a far distance, I noticed the clouds hovering above the mighty mountains.  What a beauty to behold.  God is truly powerful!

By past 4 pm, we got in back to our boat and sailed back to the port.  Our group departed ways with warm goodbyes.  Another friendship started. "

oh yeah! Jump for joy!

Sat back and relaxed
those clouds...

time to leave

HOW TO GET THERE

Preparation:
1. Take cash with you. Withdraw ahead of time at PPS because there are only two atms in El Nido (RCBC & BPI). Just so to avoid hassle. It accepts pesos and international withdrawals.
2. The electricity there is not that reliable especially during peak season. AC may turn on and off. It's being distributed in the area. But there's electric fan to borrow from the front desk. Or bring with you portable & chargeable fans.
3. Bring with you mineral water bought from PPS. Even in labeled bottle, it can trigger tummy ache for those people with weak digestive system.
