5 Reasons Why & Why Not Guests Go to Green Nature Resort & Leisure Park

Rizal, is know as the home of mountains and falls. There are a lot of resorts to go.  No need to go far peeps.  It takes 1 hour and 46 minutes driving from Manila (41.1 km) via R7.

This discovery started last weekend.  Spur of the moment sometimes bring out the best of experience. That's what happened last time my nephews and neice told us to go swimming.  Of course Chesca was super excited.  We've gone there twice. :)

We packed our things and approached Vanessa and the kids in their car outside the subdivision.  We drove to F4 and took our ordered food (Shanghai, bihon and chopsuey) and softdrinks.  We drove to the higher part of San Mateo. You can actually see the mountains close.  I felt like the place was just at the mountain's foot.  Upon arriving, the greenish, full-of-trees resort gave a good impression to us. Except that the place was PACKED...literally packed. hahaha.  I guess, the place is popular huh!

We set-up our food on the table and ate first.  The kids ate fast and you know what happened next...swimming galore.  The huge slide was fun.  Going up and down was not a problem to them. Drex and Achilles enjoyed swimming in the 5 feet pool too.  Vanessa and I just sat down.  I took some photos and videos of course.

My phone batt was low so I charged it by the store and had a bit of chit chat with the guy guard whom I interviewed about the resort. Even though it was lowbat, I made sure some photos and videos where taken.

Here's what I asked him and his answers:

1.  Who owns this resort?  "Sta. Lucia Realty"
2.  What is the best schedule to go there?  "Tuesday to Thursday"
3.  Where do the water come from?  "It is deep well. But a part of the resort's water came from the mountain that's why it is cold"
4.  How many guests can you accommodate?  "A LOT!! During the holy week, even if the resort was rejecting them because of no cottage or table was available, they insisted to get in even though they would use blanket on the ground."
5.  Is this resort famous?  "YES!  it is used for guesting and taping.  If a section is used for it, we closed it"

Even if the weather is too hot, sitting under the huge trees with all the bushes and plants around, made it just fine.  When the wind blew, the flowers from the trees fell.  Suddenly, it drizzled.  But hey, it was no problem for everyone.

Here are the 5 Reasons Why Guests Go here:
1.  Amenities.  Why go to a resort where your activities can be limited.  You want to enjoy to the fullest by being able to DO a lot right?

It has kiddie pools.  That's where Achilles, Chesca and Noelle enjoyed.  They kept climbing back and forth onto the huge slide.

Adult pool.  The pools by the way are surrounded by well-maintained shrubs and trees by the side.

Lap pool.  That's where Isaiah enjoyed a lot.  He's taller than me now and swims good so lap pool makes him happy.

Jacuzzi.  Oh that's where I wanted to try but it was so packed.

Clubhouse.  If you wish a bit of privacy, go for the clubhouse.

Function Halls.
The Function Hall UP can accommodate 100-150 pax for P10,000
The Function Hall DOWN fit for 70 - 100 pax for P8,000

2.  Room & Cottages.
They have cottages with mosquito/flies nets.  Cool!
They also have cottages with KTV you can sing your heart out.

3.  Facilities.
Billiards - 150.00/hr
Bungee Jump - 80.00/ 3mins
Wall Climbing - 50.00/climb
Train - 50/head/round
Basketball - 200/hr daytime 500 night time
Fish Spa -  free
Canteen - inside. There are also vendors outside.

4.  Rate and Crew.
The crew are friendly and knows what they need to do.

Only 1 year old is FREE.

5.  Jollibee.  You can call Jollibee and they deliver there.  How cool is that?!

On the other hand, here are the 5 Why Nots:

1.  Only half of the road going is paved.  Road close to the resort is not paved.  Drive slow to secure tire condition.

2.  Due to a lot of guests, water looks cloudy.

3.  Shower faucets are defective.  Only a few shower rooms are available to use.  Shower and comfort rooms are dirty.  I guess guests are undisciplined.  Frequent clean-up must be done.

4.  Tricycles are double-parked close at the resort, making it hard for cars and vehicles to pass by.

5.  Flies.  I guess you can't avoid flies especially when there's food on table.

How to go there via Commute Route 1:

1.  Take MRT.  Drop off at Cubao MRT Station.  Exit to Cubao Farmers. Please refer to MRT Fare fee table for rate.
2. Walk downstairs. Take UV (beside Jollibee) going to Eastwood.  Fare is 50php per head.
2.  Drop off at Sea Oil Gasoline station at Patiis.
3.  Take a tricycle.  Fare is P70.00

Via Commute Route 2:
1.  Take the bus at EDSA with signage Fairview.  Choose the one with Cubao (ilalim) so it will be faster.
2.  Drop off at Litex.  Fare is 30php.
3. At Litex, where bus usually stops, take the jeepney at the terminal going to Montalban. Fare is 20php.
4. Ask the conductor to drop you off at Brgy. Patiis at Sea Oil Gas Station.  They know.
5.  Take the trike going to Green Nature.  Fare is 70php.
