Mickey's PhilharMagic: A CONCERT FOR THE EYES & EARS, Disneyland, Hongkong

After being mesmerized with the enchanting forest, we stood in line for the famous and most-talked about show - Mickey's PhilHarMagic.  Who's the star?Don't be deceived by the title.  It's DONALD DUCK. The Opera is presented in a large golden proscenium and red crushed velvet curtain with lots of seats.  

Before we got into the 492 seater-theater.  We observed three awesome things:

* Whenever you stand in line for any ride or show, you won’t get bored because the line’s moving fast.  
* Everyone's excitement showed in their faces.
* The hot weather didn't matter.

Upon entering, you have to: 

* Get your pair of 3D "opera glasses".  They're in the huge baskets.  Previous guests have returned them there.
*  Ready yourself for the ultimate laughter and fun.

Donald Does It Again 3D Concert Experience
As the lights dim, Donald Duck is fast asleep. Mickey Mouse appears with music in hand and wakes Donald before rushing offstage to ready the show. As Donald prepares the orchestra for Mickey, he comes across the conductor’s baton and schemes to work a little magic by donning Mickey’s Sorcerer’s hat. But things get out of hand fast and Donald is plunged into a 3D dream world of classic Disney animated musical sequences.

The 3D show was one of the best so far! Everyone kept laughing even the oldies I sat beside with.  It showed Donald Duck conducting an opera in a funny way. 

Some of the characters I remember vividly were Jasmine and Aladdin, Ariel and flounder, Woody and Buzz Lightyear and Mickey.  

The unique feeling of watching a 3D Opera was as if it actually happened. Whenever a water splashes, you'd feel it on your face. When the gems were thrown, it felt like you wanna catch it. When the character flies, you also feel like flying. Awesome!

Great beginning and ending, it was a HYPE.  The last part was Donald Duck being thrown and you'd really see his big butt in the broken wall (mascot). Amazing 3D show!  

Our review:  5 Star!  Thumbs-up!  We all loved it!  

After the show:

* Stood in line to return the 3D glasses we used. 
* Place the opera glasses in the huge container carefully.

Our Advise:

"Never miss that show when you visit Disneyland." Although you can't video the show, the fun and bliss you'll experience will last forever in your heart.

Chesca, Noelle and Drex got cotton candies HK$32 for a break.  I drank the melon juice Chesca chose but was not really happy of the taste. Hahaha.
